Small Voices, Big Changes!

 As part of the Small Voices, Big Changes eTwinning project, my students participated in a collaborative activity  Theme 3: Equality & Inclusion by creating a chain story together with our international partners. The aim of this activity was to promote equality, inclusion, and respect for diversity through storytelling. In this activity, each group of students contributed a part of the story, continuing from where the previous group left off. This process required careful reading, understanding different perspectives, and working collaboratively with peers from different countries. Through this shared storytelling experience, students explored themes such as empathy, fairness, and acceptance. They realized the importance of listening to others and valuing different ideas and cultures. As part of the Small Voices, Big Changes eTwinning project, I carried out an engaging quiz activity with my students Theme 2: Digital Citizenship & Safety , in connection with Safer Internet Day . The aim of this activity was to reinforce students’ knowledge about safe internet use in an interactive and student-centered way. During the activity, my students created their own quiz questions based on topics such as online safety, digital behavior, and internet risks. This process encouraged them to think deeply about the subject and take an active role in learning. After preparing the questions, we joined a quiz competition. Students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement, which made the learning process both fun and effective. This activity not only improved their understanding of digital safety but also enhanced their creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.

 As part of the Small Voices, Big Changes eTwinning project, I carried out an eco poster activity with my students within the framework of Theme 1: Climate & Environment . The aim of this activity was to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage my students to think about sustainability and their role in protecting the planet. During the activity, my students designed eco posters focusing on important topics such as climate change, environmental protection, recycling, and saving natural resources. Through this process, they expressed their ideas creatively while also developing a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility. Students used digital tools such as Canva and AI to create their posters, which helped them improve both their digital literacy and creativity skills.  As part of the Small Voices, Big Changes eTwinning project, I carried out a logo and poster design activity with my students. In this activity, my students designed creative logos and posters that reflect the main themes of our project, such as digital safety, environmental awareness, equality, and well-being. This process allowed them to think critically about the project topics while expressing their ideas visually. Students used Web 2.0 tools and AI to create their designs, which helped improve their digital skills and creativity. They were highly motivated and actively engaged throughout the activity. At the end of the process, we selected the most representative designs to be shared with our project partners. This activity also supported collaboration and decision-making skills.  Starting Our eTwinning Journey:  Small Voices Big Changes I am excited to introduce our eTwinning project Small Voices, Big Changes , which I carry out with my students. This international project is designed for high school students aged 14–18 and aims to empower them to become active and responsible global citizens. Within the framework of the 2025–2026 eTwinning theme Life Skills , this project provides students with a platform to express their ideas on key global issues such as climate change, digital safety, social equality, and mental well-being.
